Valley Plaza Façade Renovation
2454 U.S. Highway 6 & 50 | Grand Junction, Colorado
Build Works led the comprehensive exterior renovation of Valley Plaza, transforming one of Grand Junction’s longstanding shopping centers into a refreshed, modern, and welcoming commercial destination.
Originally constructed in 1982, the center needed more than a cosmetic update. The project was designed to modernize the property’s aging exterior, improve its visibility and curb appeal, and create a better experience for the businesses, customers, and community members who visit Valley Plaza every day.
The renovation included a complete façade refresh with new stone, stucco, and metal finishes, along with updated tenant signage, sidewalk improvements, and other structural and aesthetic upgrades. The new materials and architectural details introduced a contemporary appearance while maintaining a cohesive look across the entire shopping center.
With 23 businesses operating throughout the plaza, careful planning, communication, and coordination were essential. Build Works worked closely with the property owner, management team, tenants, design professionals, engineers, and local trade partners to keep the project moving efficiently while accommodating the needs of an active commercial property.
